“A woman is kept from the pride of her beauty.  She’s kept from the pride of lasciviousness.  She’s kept from the pride of doing things as a man can do things.  She’s kept from the pride of doing her own will.  She’s kept from the pride of living with irresponsibility.  All by what?  By having children.”  – Sean Morris

“And you’ve got to show this world that God is good.  And that He gave this pain to women because He’s good.  And that you deserve it and that you’re happy to endure it.  You’re happy.  Oh this small debt that we owe.  This small debt that you as a daughter of Eve owe to God.”  – Sean Morris

“You’ll be unshakable on that day.  You will be a shining example of what it is to display the gospel to heathen women…How are these women going to believe in the good news of the Gospel if you cannot display that in your behavior? They won’t believe it.  They won’t believe that you actually believe what you’re saying.  You understand?  And we’re going to preach to them, right?  And they need to hear.  They need to see the Gospel, not just hear it.  They need to see it with your words, with your life.  God is requiring this of you.”  – Sean Morris

0:10  “My wife, she struggles with these things like I brought up, and she’s changed a lot since she’s been here, as I’m sure you all can see it more than anyone…”

0:29   “Coming towards the birth…this is what can happen to her: The way she feels physically, she’ll begin to believe that that’s how she must be spiritually, so she feels weak or defeated, or some kind of ailment, maybe a cough, or I’m not sure what all it will be, some kind of pain, or a lot of times it’s just intense feelings of bodily weakness….stomach and intestine troubles, and when she feels this way, and she gives in to it. She will be begin to believe that God is angry with her, and that’s really, like, the foundation of the heresy, is that she feels vile because she feels sick. Therefore, she feels spiritually vile toward God and then her fellowship with God is cut off. And then she feels like she is what she feels. So, I want to talk about that again, and then many other things to prepare you, Preethi, for giving birth; especially I want to talk about fear of death, and what God says about death, what God says about pain, because that is what I’ve been noticing that the devil’s trying to tempt you.  The devil has been trying to tempt Preethi of, about believing that she’s going to die in giving birth, and tempt her…I believe that she is tempted to believe that she is failing the Lord and not being as good of a help-meet to me as she would desire to be, or as God would call her to be, and then she’ll be tempted that she has no promise from God that she is surely going to live through this. So then she says, ‘what if I die? How do I know I’m not going to die?’ And then that leads to all kinds of unrighteousness feelings, like she’s utterly failed God and failed her calling as my wife and as an elder’s wife, and all the visions that God has given her – the spiritual calling that God has given her – she feel like she’s going to die, then she must have failed all of this. And then that immediately plummets her into sorrow.”

4:27  “I want to talk about the fear of death, and what is God’s will for you, Preethi?  I have a lot to cover, but I want you to consider that these are the things you need to think about…what the Word of God is saying in relevance to these very issues.”

6:06  “You will fall when we start going forward into this birth unless you stay your mind upon these truths of God’s word, which will set you free, which will stabilize your mind.  …Feebleness of mind will be gone when you are strengthened by the Word of God.  You will be fixed and immovable in that…all of your temptations will flee away.  All of your feebleness of mind will flee away.”

8:05  “This is the hour of trial.  I believe that it is one of the most significant trials that you will ever go through in your life is this birth.  And the reason I believe this is because there are so many fears that you have toward pain, even small amounts of pain, that for you to experience this kind of pain and tribulation of body and go through it and live, it will revolutionize your whole understanding of the resiliency, so to speak, of God’s creation of the body. And that’s what you don’t see, the resiliency of it. I believe that’s why you’re afraid of animals or you’re afraid of all these things. You don’t have a conscious understanding of the human being in comparison to animals.”

9:20  “That’s why these cats are afraid of me, is because I’m allergic to them. I make sure they know I’m not their friend, so that they don’t come near me.  By doing that I just nudge them when they come near to me, almost like a jab in the shoulder. It doesn’t hurt them, but they know by that that I’m not a cuddle-buddy to them.  So they call come to cuddle to you, but not to me, because they would destroy me because I’m hyper-allergic to cats. I’m, like, taking authority over them. God says they’re to be afraid of me, right?  So I’m taking authority over them. That’s what God says in his Word.  Now if I were to run away from them, they would rule over me, just like a little baby.  A little baby – our son or daughter will rule over us if we don’t take authority over him and teach him that we’re the parents. We tell him what to do.  He doesn’t tell us what to do.  It’s the same with the animals.”

18:37  “This design will be with multiplied sorrows, with pain.  And that’s what the book of Genesis
says. Genesis 3:16: under the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrows and thy conception.  In sorrow thou shall bring forth children…  So this glorious creation happens with the intimate design of God.  And what is one of His designs? Pain. That’s one of His designs.  And why did He design this? For good. For your good, not for your evil; for your salvation even.”

20:02  “Now the sin of Eve in all the daughters of Eve, which is being punished by the sorrows of conception and childbirth has been forgiven and is under the blood, for you and for all saints…  However, all the rest of the sons of Adam and the daughters of Eve that are not redeemed, it’s working as a beating rod of chastisement upon their back, and causing them not to love their lives and to fear God, and to experience life-threatening circumstances to humble their hearts.”

21:40  “A woman is kept from the pride of her beauty.  She’s kept from the pride of lasciviousness, She’s kept from the pride of doing things as a man can do things.  She’s kept from the pride of doing her own will.  She’s kept from the pride of living with irresponsibly.  All by what?  By having children.  By having children.  When women have children – it doesn’t matter if they are the most irresponsible person – suddenly they learn to be responsible.  Suddenly they learn to multitask.  Suddenly they learn to deny themselves.  Suddenly they learn to work, even when they’re sick, right?”

22:40  “When they’re pregnant, their bodies are completely shaped in a different way, and God willing some of them have stretch marks, and God willing some of them never recover that frame of beauty that the devil put in their mind that they want to seek to achieve.”

23:03  “You see, these elements of the curse are designed to turn lost humanity towards God.  That’s what it’s for…that’s what it does.  And so in that way, it’s a chastisement.  If he didn’t do that to man, then their wickedness would spiral out of control.”

24:05  Sean receives a call from Anna Trudeau at this point.  Audio quality changes.

28:33  “All so all these other women, they’ll gnash their teeth and do all these things and wail and thrash while they go through childbirth, but you know what you can do?  You can give glory to God.  You can give glory to God.  You can say thanks Lord.  Thank you Lord Jesus.  Thank you for all this Lord. You are faithful. You see what’s going on.  It’s in your hands Lord.  My life is in your hands.  The Bible says precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.  Do you think God is going to let you die by happen-chance?”

31:29  “This is kind of just an introduction.  I may not be able to get through all this today.  I may need to continue tomorrow or even the next day, but what you need to see sister, is God…is God, in all of this.”

32:00  “In Psalm 37:3-6, it depicts the kind of vital reality with God that you need to have.  By vital reality it means it’s real.  It isn’t just a text on a page.  Preethi,  in the name of the Lord Jesus  I am a watchman for your soul.  You know what that means? I’m on the wall there, and I’m telling you there is an army coming and you need to get ready.  There’s a trial coming and you need to get ready.”

32:36  “You’ll be unshakable on that day.  You will be a shining example of what it is to display the gospel to heathen women, showing them that you do not fear death, and there is no sting in death, and that God is completely sovereign and completely in control of the birth of this child, of my life and my health, and of my feelings.“

33:15  “How are these women going to believe in the good news of the Gospel if you cannot display that in your behavior?  They won’t believe it.  They won’t believe that you actually believe what you’re saying.  You understand?  And we’re going to preach to them, right?  And they need to hear.  They need to see the Gospel, not just hear it.  They need to see it with your words, with your life.  God is requiring this of you.

35:09  “Almost every one of the sisters have demonstrated this glory of God amongst the midwives.  And they’re being wrought upon mightily.  Especially in Tyler.  They’re being wrought upon mightily.  They’re just, ‘How do these women…they’re just so strong, they’re just…’  What they mean I think, is they’re self-controlled.  They’re not thrashing around and in a craze and anxious.  They’re just like praying, and singing, or their husbands are singing.  Obviously, I don’t think they can sing during a contraction.  They’re keeping themselves in a composed way because they’re trusting in their Lord.  And they’re keeping a meek spirit.  They’re not loud and boisterous and shouting around.  They’re keeping a meek spirit and a quiet spirit, even in this.  And the midwives see it and it amazes them!  And we’ve got to keep that testimony.  We can’t mar the glory of Christ.  Even if you be in the lowest pit of neediness of all the sisters in the Church of Wells, you’re not too far for the grace of God to pluck you out.  It’s right here: Delight thyself in the Lord…trust in the Lord and do good.”

38:00  “Your heart needs to be turned to this.  You need to see it as important as the Gospel in some ways.”

39:20  “When you are going through childbirth Preethi, there comes a time you just need to rest in the Lord, all the time.  All the time you just need to rest in the Lord, and cheerfully suffer pain.  Cheerfully.  That’s what patience means in Scripture when it says ‘suffering patiently’ – it means cheerfully.  It means giving glory to God, in bonds.”

39:42  “And you’ve got to show this world that God is good.  And that He gave this pain to women because He’s good.  And that you deserve it and that you’re happy to endure it.  You’re happy.  Oh this small debt that we owe.  This small debt that you as a daughter of Eve owe to God.  This small debt.  This small, small tribulation compared to hell-fire.  Compared to the agony of eternity under the wrath of God.”

41:29  “…when Catherine was in rebellion and you were walking down Booker Street, and that dog was coming at you and coming at Catherine.  In any other day, you wouldn’t have stayed with Catherine, but you knew that if you abandoned Catherine this time, she would most likely be lost. And so you went straight forward.  You set your face right in the face of that dog: ‘if I perish I perish’.  You weren’t going to leave Catherine’s side because you loved her with the love of Christ.  You didn’t fear pain; you didn’t fear death; you didn’t fear that dog. Overwhelming charity, overwhelming confidence pounding forth in your soul.  Why?  You love not your life unto death. You love her life.  Your love was Christ living in you.”

42:25  “You need to look upon those unsaved women and you need to love not your life unto Death!  They’re watching.  It will change their lives forever what they see.  It’ll change their life.  And you need to preach to them.  You do…you need to preach to them….it’s vital.  They need to see the glory of Christ.”

48:55  “Whether it’s the dream, or whether these mysterious arguments the devil is giving you, by a conglomeration of sudden thoughts mixed together with dreams or impressions, or just your own fears, or the way your body feels, all these things work together until you start believing you’re going to fail the Lord, and you start being hopeless.  You start fearing death, fearing that God is going to kill you because He hates you, instead of that He delights in you. That’s truly what you’re fearing…thinking that God is going to kill you because he hates you – and that he brought you into this pregnancy to kill you.”

55:44  “Preethi, you’re more than some depraved daughter of Eve that doesn’t know if she’s going to live or die, or deserves to die and that’s it.”

59:53  “The Lord has given you a burden for the sisters. We’re trying to bring a reformation of their prayer lives.  We’re trying to do all these things. It’s been confirmed from heaven.  All the elders are in agreement.  It’s the Lord’s will. Don’t let some devil bewitch you – some lying scheme. It’s better that you stay…you need to know this.  You need to meditate on this.”

1:04:40  “I have been at the brink of death.  I’ve been there. I was there many times.   Last time I was there was when I had a 103.7 fever in the hospital…well I was there a few other times after that…but that was the time when it was really hard for me, and I thought I was going to die.  I really did.  I had a 103.7 fever is when they gave me the spinal tap…They put me on an IV and I was just like preaching to everybody, because I thought I was about to die.  I thought I was about to see the Lord in like 10 minutes, 5 minutes!  I don’t want to see the Lord without preaching to everybody!”

1:06:10  Sean laughing as he recounts a hospital story.

1:08:54  “Just like that day when that murderer was running around telling us he was going to kill us. Do you remember how wonderful that was?  We were all just rejoicing. It was one of the best days of my life!  I thought, ‘what if he comes in here and kills us? Wow! I could be in heaven in 30 minutes!  And wow, I could be in glory with God!’ And then that man comes in…’Hello, greetings!”

1:10:28  “The same thing that the world is going to look on and see the saints glorifying the Lord, these heathen midwives, they need to see that in you, right now.  You can tell them – it’s a sign.  It’s a sign for the apocalypse.  This is what we’re all going to do in the day of our redemption, is rejoice in the Lord.  Though there is pain, though there is tribulation, though there is suffering, our hope is in the Lord.”

1:13:08  “You need to not complain, not murmur.  Just thank the Lord.  And if you do, you’ll lose confidence and you’ll feel the wrath of God – because he will be angry.  The Bible says that he that murmur is the son of iniquity.  He will destroy him…”

1:14:10  “With all your heart, you need to be studying this – these passages, every day.   Look upon them, meditate upon them, without losing the spiritual realities that you are dealing with, build upon them every day, because your day of trial is coming.  In a few months.  You need to get ready.”
